16th Annual Nene Fest
A Festival for Neighbors by Neighbors

Saturday, APRIL 11, 2026  •  4:00–9:00 p.m.  •  Optimist Park

Join neighbors and friends to celebrate our community and enjoy live music at Optimist Park on Saturday, April 11, from 4pm to 9pm. Nene Fest was started in 2009 as a Festival by neighbors for neighbors; there are many ways to participate to help make it a success!

 

Nene Grill + Nene Sweets
Starting at 5pm, the Nene Grill will sell regular and vegetarian hot dogs and burgers, as well as pulled pork sandwiches, with salads made by neighbors. Pay with cash or Venmo. Meanwhile, the Nene Sweets table will offer desserts made by neighbors; donations at the table are welcome.

  • We are looking for contributions of salads, cookies, brownies, bars to share with neighbors. 

  • You can also contribute by signing up to help sell or serve food at the Nene Grill or the Nene Sweets table.

Nene Fest Merchandise
T-shirts, tanks, and long-sleeve shirts will be on sale starting at 4pm.

Arts, Crafts, and Business Booths
Artisans, artists, and crafters are invited to showcase and/or sell hand-made products. Local businesses and organizations also are welcome to share their materials and inform our neighbors of their services. 
  • There are still available spots for booths! Sign up using this form to reserve a spot and let us know the purpose of your booth.
 
Puppet Show
Help bring the puppets alive! Still many rolls to fill, including ways for young kids to participate.
